The European Recovery Plan represents a great opportunity for 2021-2027. The European Union has made a large number of resources available to our country, those that will be articulated through the new instruments and programmes that are part of the Next Generation EU plan and those that will be channelled through the Multiannual Financial Framework and the European Green Deal, which will offer an extraordinary opportunity for the recovery and the transformation of our economy.
However, the deadlines set are extremely ambitious, in line with the economic situation, and the requirements are quite demanding, so the challenge will be to effectively manage the whole process where the central axes are the green transition and the digital transformation.

- Smart grids and renewable energy deployment
- Sustainable mobility
- Circular economy and waste management
- Comprehensive building refurbishment and rehabilitation. Urban regeneration
The European support programme offers unprecedented investment in the history of the EU. The European Recovery Plan, under the Next Generation EU programme, provides €750 billion, of which more than €150 billion is earmarked for Spain, an economic injection that represents more than 11% of Spain's GDP. This year, 2021, €27,000M€ in non-refundable aid has been budgeted, and similar items will be available for the next two years. Thereafter, the funds will be loans on very advantageous terms.
Now is the time to develop projects to transform companies, with subsidies that will be between 35-40% of those projects that are aligned and meet the requirements.
